Today I went to Murder By the Book because Leann Sweeney was signing the third book in her “Cats in Trouble” mystery series. Here are a couple of photos. I also shot a photo of the Giant Armadillo Who Watches Over Kirby Drive, but I’ll save that for another time.

Is this a relatively new series? I remember the Yellow Rose series, but don’t recall this one. I was the “mystery expert” at the store.
Pretty new. The Cat, the Quilt, and the Corpse came out in 2009, and The Cat, the Professor, and the Poison came out in 2010. She still has ideas for future Yellow Rose mysteries, but health issues have limited her to working on one series (Cats in Trouble) for now.
Okay, that explains it. Once they told us we were closing, we didn’t get any new titles. I’m always looking for a good mystery. Is Dean James writing anything these days? I miss his Trailer Park Mystery series.
