I don’t remember how I got to this–so if someone on my friends’ list linked it, I’d be glad to give you credit–but I love this guy’s creative blog post showing what he’s done in case his camera gets lost. I don’t know about all digital cameras, but I can protect pictures on mine to keep from accidentally deleting them. Therefore I could do this on my camera–but I couldn’t be as adorable as Andrew McDonald.
Most enjoyable thing I’ve seen all day! Will have to pass the link on to my friend Jody who also writes kid’s books.
That I loved. Thanks for finding and sharing!
That’s great! Funny guy. (And cute, too). :o)
“–but I couldn’t be as adorable as Andrew McDonald.”
Oh I bet you could . . . 🙂
But thanks for the link – a good idea with a lot of humour! Who could resist e-mailing him after that?
Hysterical! (And a really great idea, too!)
Oh yay! I’m so glad you posted this. 🙂 That rules. And I bet he’s a lot of fun to hang around…
Camera Saver
The last time I lost my camera was my first disc camera. I *just* got it, and poof. Gone. I cried.
I think his idea of saving pics onto the camera that give some idea of who to contact is rather novel, based on the assumption that who ever finds it is dis-honest enough to take a peak at its contents, yet honest enough to actually follow through and contact the owner. So that’s cool.
But, I do tend to format the card after a download of several pics. I could have the camera delete the pics as they download. Hmmm… now I’m just rambling… He is attractive…
That (he) is adorable!
