Current Photo Friday theme: The Office
This may look like a lowly keyboard, but…
…it’s on its third computer. Its fifth mouse. It has helped write and edit nine novels and countless short stories. Written thousands of e-mails, letters, LJ posts, and blog comments. Helped me navigate my way through miles and miles of web sites. Its “N” has faded away. Its “M” is next, and then its “V” will be gone. And even after ten years, it still says to me every Monday through Friday, I’m nothing without you; turn me on! Which might mean more if it didn’t say the same thing to Tom every Saturday and Sunday. Still, I’m quite fond of it and hope we keep company for many more years.
