My brain is like a squirrel on crack and I hope people have very low expectations of me.
I know how you feel. I really do. Maybe not in the EXACT way, but yeah, squirrels on crack. Today, I am packing, cleaning, shopping for Bob’s food, preparing to see my mother this weekend in Florida. I am hoping to have some fun, too, but mostly this is to see my mom. She is not doing well. So, on top of getting course work done, the New Orlean syllabus completed, and gearing up for England in July, I am totally wired.
Let’s take a vacation from things…go to a beach, sit under an umbrella, and watch waves, pick up shells. Watch our feet sink in the sand, coming up between our toes. Sometimes, a break is so needed, that even just sleeping for a weekend would be awesome.
