Timmy is sad because he had to get a new backpack.
I admit, I’m sort of fond of Timmy’s old backpack, too, mostly because I have this photo of it from a visit the TJB writers made to Houston’s Cancer Survivors Plaza, I think back in early 2001.
This is not my favorite photo from that day, but I’d have to get permission from the guys before I could post any of the others.
Waaaah! I love that picture.
Oh, don’t think the bag is being thrown away…I’m having it bronzed…okay, maybe not, but I’m still keeping it.
I hang on to things like that, too. There are amazing memories attached and it was like a companion along with you on your journey.
I love taking paperbacks with me wherever I go. Usually, I’ll have a beat-up reading copy for travels and a perfect one safely on my bookshelf. But it’s the beat-up ones that mean the most because they were a part of my memories.
Love your blog, by the way. I added you as a friend. Hope that’s okay.
Thanks for the compliment. I’ve added you as a friend as well. Any friend of Becky’s is a friend of mine…
I’m constantly writing entries about what a dork I am, so if you’d like to post photographic evidence, by all means to.
