My sister is here and gave me this adorable Dumbo.
I suppose there’s really no need to get into why, right?
I did finally grow into my ears. Sad thing is, they apparently keep growing. FOREVER.
Still to come when I can find what I’m looking for: a photo response and appropriate animal for Debby.
All the better to hear the music of the earth, the laughter of love, and the whisper of wisdom.
That’s a positive spin!
I loved Dumbo! I’m pretty sure Mum and Dad took us to see it when we were kids. That would have been in the late 70s or early 80s – when Disney films were re-shown during the school holidays, before the advent of videos.
I guess kids today are lucky to see their favorite movies whenever they want, but there was something exciting about a favorite film’s re-release and going back to the theater to see it, wasn’t there?
I think so. Having so much on tap these days takes the excitement out of it.
I had such sticky out ears I ended up begging my parents to let me have them operated on so that I could finally wear a pony tail, and luckily they let me They’re still big ears but at least they sit flatter now. I wish I could send my 10 year old self over to hang out with you in your photo, we could have had fun commiserating over our ears – but seriously yours aren’t nearly as bad as mine were. 🙂
Aw, poor you! I’m glad you were finally able to wear your pony tail.
No, mine didn’t really stick out, they were just so long!
