Greg–As you know, I come from a family divided–on both sides. Three people in my family, and three people in Tom’s family, are on the…well, the wrong side of the divide. One of Tom’s sisters sent this photo that I knew you’d understand.
Sorry, Greg, you’ll have to sit with the lonely kid. Roll Tide.
since I am on neither side, I will sit with the cute kid and (more importantly) Greg.
How can you be Alabama born and bred and not have taken a side? I thought it was mandatory. (I don’t think people outside the state really believe this, but I’m not the only person who says there was a time when it was the first thing other kids asked when you moved there as a child. I don’t know if that’s still true, but this picture made me remember it.)
Is Greg an Auburn Fan? What is the connection?
(yeah, editing by deletion)
Yes, Greg is of the War Eagle people.
Hmm…does this mean Auburn fans have cooties?
Once again I come to make a snarky cootie remark, and it’s been stolen… shakes an angry fist.
I usually don’t get involved in the rivalry, since I don’t–DON’T TELL–follow football so much anymore. However, I really liked this photo because I’m letting myself believe it’s not photoshopped but one the kids had fun doing. Especially the Auburn kid, who’s a good sport about it if it’s a real photo.
Who farted? Oh yeah, Greg …
I was going to make a cootie joke, but it was taken, so I had to go for the fart joke, low brow yes, but still funny… yuk yuk yuk.
*giggles*
We’re just as partisan here in the UK, believe me . . .
(But even ‘segregated’, I love the way all the kids are smiling!!)
Ah, yes, but I will console myself with the memory of four wins in a row….
Winning is highly overrated.
(Yeah, I scoffed at that statement, too.)
