OK, so I had to go to the online candy store to find the Funny Bones. I have never seen or heard about them before your post. Personally, I’d prefer the Gummy Bones, myself.
I’ve seen them at a movie theater in a candy dispenser since, but I first knew about them because they were used in the “swag bags” at dog rescue fundraising events.
