Lately, I’ve been thinking Cracker Barrel’s cornbread is yucky compared to their biscuits, but I do like Black Eyed Pea’s and NoVA’s Hard Times Cafe’s cornbread more.
Funny you should say that, because a week or so ago, I actually had some of Cracker Barrel’s cornbread and liked it. Probably because there was no trace of sugar in it. I seem to recall Black Eyed Pea’s as being sweet, so maybe you’re a person who likes sweeter cornbread. I’ve heard y’all exist. 😉
The cornbread I had at Black Eyed Pea had corn kernels in the bread. I seem to recall they were sweeter too than Cracker Barrel’s, as I liked to eat them for “desert.” In that case, Cracker Barrel’s may turn out to be healthier :).
