Taking care of business

After a week away, I’ve been playing catch-up, especially with the attention that Foolish Hearts and Best Gay Romance 2014 need. Tim and I decided to kill the old Fool For Love Facebook page because we wanted one location that could feature all three anthologies. If you’re on FB, “liking” the new page can keep you up to date on reviews, interviews, giveaways, and author goings-on. At least that’ll be true when we get all the updates there!

If you’re one of the contributors to any of those anthologies, we’ll always be delighted to promote the other writing-related things you’re doing. I know many of you have new books and short stories, along with readings, signings, and other good things happening, and the page can provide an opportunity to reach readers. Please don’t hesitate to shoot Tim or me an email with any info you want to share.

Jeffrey Ricker, Saints and Sinners, 2014

Meanwhile, this guy has been busy. His new novel, The Unwanted is out now, and if you click on that title, you’ll get to Jeffrey’s blog, where you can learn about readings/signings and a Goodreads giveaway that goes until April 15. I don’t have my copy yet, but Murder By The Book has ordered it for me.

Among other things, Jeffrey did an interview with CITR radio’s “Arts on the Air.” You can listen via this link. Jeff’s interview begins just past the seven-minute mark.

We’ve gotten lots of good feedback about Jeffrey’s story in Foolish Hearts, “Tea,” just as we did for his Fool for Love story “At the End of the Leash.”

Both Jeff’s first novel, Detours, and The Unwanted are available from Bold Strokes Books and other booksellers online and in stores.

  1. “Tea” was so beautiful. I told a friend I needed five minutes to just sit and be quiet when I finished.
