    1. Then again, if you’ve ever seen the smile of a four-year old posing with the princesses or the other characters, to her, it really is the happiest place on earth.

  1. I meant the smiles on the staff.

I would love to be able to take Ryan and Braeden, but like Chris’ kids, they’re likely to be grown up by the time we can afford it.

    1. I knew you meant the staff–was just hoping to counterbalance their false smiles with the real ones of a child.

Grown kids appreciate Disney in a different way, but just as much–because like Chris’s kids, it’s not just the features of the park, but the fun of sharing it with family they get to experience. I can’t believe it’s been two years since your trip!

  2. I remember how tickled I was when I met Pluto and Captain Hook put me in the stockade — in every picture I am tickled and happy beyond belief. Even when I went back as an adult I was excited to be there. It’s a trap I love!

    1. The people trap is a lot more fun than the mouse trap. I think the world would be a sadder and less sparkly place without Disney. And Florida would be a much poorer state–the last study I found estimates the Disney theme parks generate over 18 billion dollars of economic activity throughout central Florida.
