July Photo A Day: Black + White

I didn’t have to turn this photo black and white; Nature did it for me. An afternoon storm blew up so quickly on the Gulf that everything went dark right after our group of fifteen was seated in a restaurant overlooking the beach. Then came the deluge, and by the time we’d finished eating, the storm was over. Great timing.

  1. We’ve been having that problem frequently in the last couple of weeks. It only caught me outside once. Right now we’re going through a Canadian summer thanks to a dip in the jet stream. Temps never left the 70s today, and dropping to the mid-50s tonight and tomorrow morning. The AC hasn’t gone on since last Tuesday. So who’s complaining, though I did end up with a stuffy head this week.

  2. Heavy, black and pendulous storm clouds… and spooky too!

Sometimes, nature in B&W can be amazing. 🙂

    1. It was amazing. We had quite a wait for a table sitting at the outside bar under sunny skies. The timing was just right at both ends of the storm.
