An Aries (Who Knows Some Stuff)
It’s very shiny.
That’s how it caught my eye from the street and made me find a parking place (not an easy task in that area) so I could photograph it back in April.
I shot Andy Warhol! (That movie features Lili Taylor, a favorite actor of mine.)
That’s a lot of chrome, but it captures the essence of Warhol … both intriguing and confusing. Does the bag really say medium brown dog? Went online to find a photo of the museum building. A lot of stainless steel. I presume it has its admirers and detractors.
It’s “medium brown bag,” a Bloomingdale’s bag. (Apparently he used to carry one regularly.)
I like the CAM building. Its design seems in line with its purpose, and it’s a nice counterpoint to the MFA catty-cornered across the street.
