The water looks choppy, too. But a great picture. The Missouri and the Mississippi might be wide, but they’re really not impressive.
The water was very choppy. There was even enough wave action to attract the surfers.
It makes the beach look cold with the overcast and waves. Is there a storm brewing?
It was cold and overcast with rain predicted, though I don’t know if they had an actual storm. It’s pretty standard Gulf weather for Galveston in February. Sometimes it gets really foggy.
And, by chance on Sunday, I was watching Pirates of the Caribbeann: The curse of the Black Pearl. I’m sure there’s treasure out there.
We watched a cruise ship (HUGE!) leave from Galveston. I hope there are no pirates out there looking for that treasure!
