It’s like that gabled assembly of beams in the background has exerted its influence upon the tree… or is the tree older than the building, in which case was the builder unwittingly influenced by the tree? Cool picture!
Pay one dollar via PayPal and you can get “A Penny For Your Thoughts”: A bit of wit or wisdom or an affirmation I’ve learned from Foster Dog Penny. A percentage of your dollar will go to Scout’s Honor.org.
Scout's Honor Rescue is an all-breed, no-kill, Not-For-Profit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization committed to bringing courage, character, and compassion to Houston's homeless pet population, as well as making a positive difference in the lives of strays, abandoned animals, and the Houston community as a whole. 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to saving the life of a homeless animal.

Thanks! I don’t know what came first. Those buildings are old, mostly unused now, so the tree is probably the young one.
I like how the tree is shading the canal/creak/interstate merge lane/railroad… ok, whatever is under that bridge, it looks a nice spot for a picnic
As best I can recall, there’s a stream. And you’re right–a picnic there would be nice. =)
