30 Days of Creativity: Day 10

After a twelve-hour car trip from the Ozarks back home to Houston, I don’t have much creative energy left. However, in honor of other people’s creativity, I’m showing you what I thoroughly enjoyed reading on my summer vacation. And if it counts, what I can’t show you are all the notes I’ve made for what I hope will be my next novel.

    1. Not that I want to dampen your enthusiasm, but I’ve been making notes for this thing for over a year and still have about ten paragraphs written. So it may be a while–plus there’s always the challenge of finding a publisher!

    1. I thought of you the whole time I was reading it. This is the fourth of her books I’ve read, and here’s what I’ve decided. She’s an absolute master at making me want something with all of my being, and then not giving it to me. Writers who break my heart SUCK. Except that she’s so good, I have no choice but to accept the story on her terms.

      It’s a wonderful book, and I think you’ll love it.
