  1. No Hope and Glory? (I can totally relate to you – but for me it’s post 2003. I blame Sarbanes-Oxley and therefore Ken Lay.)

    Okay – someone…could you please get Becky a copy of Hope and Glory? Oh how I adore that movie…

      1. what is it good for! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Sorry, I was compelled. There are quite a few years that I saw ALL of them, although to be fair there is NO year that I liked them all, there is always one movie that messes that up. I was surprised to see you didn’t see Capote… great great movie … and Infamous was even better I thought. I know that you don’t like violent things, but they really are more about Capote and his relationships then the murder.

        1. I have a bit of a problem with that particular piece of real/literary history. It’s best that I don’t revisit it.

          Which sounds mysterious, but let me leave it at that.

          Um. Right.

          I can’t handle violent movies at all anymore, so I was finding the same thing, – I’d consciously decided not to see quite a few of these.
