Button Sunday Plus

I called Tim earlier to see what’s going on. They took him for more x-rays at two a.m., but he hasn’t seen a doctor today to know what that means. It would be great if the chest tube could come out today, because if all goes well after that happens, maybe he could come home as early as tomorrow. I’m not getting my hopes up again though.

On Tim’s voice post, the Maine accent is not his normal speech, in case you thought so. He only did that for Mark. Maybe he’ll do another one that sounds more like himself.

Just before I went to bed last night, the dog snoozers had shifted. Rex was in his crate, and Sugar did this:

Margot, Sugar, and Guinness.

Because I’m missing Rhonda and Lindsey, I picked this coffee cup this morning, which is one they brought back to Tom from their vacation in Florida.

Plus–pirates! Always good, and pirates make me think of Marika.

Here’s a little bit of virtual summer to everyone to say thanks for sending good thoughts to Tim and also to help with Mark G. Harris’s autumnal gloom. I added some elephant ears at the end for Really Rob.

And a repeat for Mark, to remember the summer season kickoff:

When Tim comes home, we’ll surely post photos of him getting lots of dog love and BBQ Fritos. Thanks!

  1. Oh, no, no, no Ms. Becky. Lovely as those flower pictures are, they just rub my nose in the fact that we won’t see anything like that around here for a long time to come. 😉
The last picture made me laugh (again) and think of fun, fun times.

    1. (It’s not blooming like that around here either, if that makes you feel better. In fact, tonight I was thinking of how completely out-of-control everything at The Compound has been for a while, and there’s some landscaping in our future. Although I just know Tim’s going to play that damn collapsed lung card every time I brandish a rake or shovel at him.)

  2. Oh, just logged on to a computer for some updates… We miss you guys terribly; and I hate to read that Tim is still in the hospital! We’ll both be home Friday night, at which point the entire Compound is getting smothered with “dirty backpackers from Thailand lovin’.”
